Free Power Bars at HyVee!
I stopped in at HyVee today to snatch a couple of deals & found one of them was even better than I could have imagined!
Here's the list:
4-Midwest Country Fare frozen veggies, 16 oz., $.77 each
= $.77 each!
4-Tombstone Pizzas, $3.00 each
+ buy 3, get 4th free! (store coupon)
= $2.25 each!
1-Midwest Country Fare Powdered sugar, 2 lb, $.99
+ use store coupon to get sale price
= $.99
1-Midwest Country Fare Light Brown Sugar, 2 lb, $.99
+ use store coupon to get sale price
= $.99
1-So Delicious Coconut milk, 64 oz, $4.79
= $4.79 (not a sale price on this one...no idea what this typically goes for...we need it for a recipe tomorrow).
Here's the deal I was shocked to see when I took a closer look at the receipt!...
4-Powerbar Pure & Simple Energy Bar, $.79 B1G1FREE
...two of these are not pictured as my son and I needed a quick snack on the way home ;-)
...when I reviewed the receipt after I got home, I saw that all of these rang up as $.79 - $.79 = 0!
= all of them were FREE! I hope to get a chance to run to the store and grab some more! Wow! This may not last long.
TOTAL spent: $18.85
Total SAVED: $7.34 (28%)
I like to get my savings to more than 50% most of the time. I'm sure the Coconut milk didn't help...but it's for a special recipe, a bit of a splurge, so I'm ok with it.) Sure wish I had bought more of those Power Bars!
