Great Recipe for Turkey Breakfast Sausage!

Last week, I purchased two 1 lb. packages of frozen Turkey sausage (Louis Rich Pure Ground Turkey).  They were on sale for $1 each, at Copps!  I'm going to take a peek at my local Copps again, this week, just in case there are a few left on sale...but I may need to wait a while to get such a good deal again.  Next time, I'll definitely buy more to use with the Turkey Breakfast Sausage recipe I found on allrecipes.com:

It's a super simple (& healthy) recipe:

 Turkey Breakfast Sausage

The ingredients:
1 lb. lean ground turkey
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon rubbed sage
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger

The directions:
Crumble turkey into a large bowl.  Add the salt, sage, pepper and ginger.  Shape into eight 2-in patties.  In a nonstick skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, cook patties over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 165 degrees F.

My whole family enjoyed these, this morning...and I also enjoyed how simple they were to pull together!

Here are a few coupons that might help out, too:

  2. Glad you found some ground turkey on sale in your area! The best price I've seen the last few weeks in our area is at Aldi for $1.39 (not too bad). It's a fun and easy recipe! Enjoy!
