Wow. Aldi did it again. All of this for $41.67
and NO COUPONS!
If you want to save a TON on groceries, I highly recommend that you stop in at Aldi on occasion. The majority of their regular prices are as good as or better than what you can find anywhere else. Aldi doesn't allow coupons...but in many cases, you wouldn't need them. I like to stop in to stock up on milk, tortilla chips, rice cakes, napkins, baking supplies, etc. They do have several of their own brands. Many are quite good! For more info. re: shopping at Aldi, go to the Aldi information page at cincinnatticents.blogspot.com
Here's what I bought for $41.67 today (including a pair of shoes!):
2-Fit & Active Rice Cakes, 14 ct., $1.29 each
1-Boulder Napkins, 250ct., $1.49
1-Mama Cozzi's "Take & Bake" Deli Pizza, 16", $6.99
...my family really likes these...so when I shop at Aldi later in the afternoon, I sometimes bring one home for a quick and easy supper.
1-Sundae Shoppe Rocky Road ice cream, 1/2 gallon, $1.99
1-Granny Smith's Apples, 3lb bag, $2.49
2-Evaporated Milk, 12 oz. $.69 each
2-Sweetened & Condensed milk, 14 oz. $1.29 each
1-Clancy's Puffed Corn, 8 oz. $1.19
...snacking on these cheese puffs as I type and reminding myself that I shouldn't shop when I'm hungry! ;-)
1-Sweet Blossom Premium Lemons, 4ct., $1.79
...lately, I've been slicing limes or lemons and putting them in a pitcher of fresh water in the fridge. Great as a refreshing drink!...also much healthier & much less expensive than soda pop!
1-Savoritz 4 Kids Sharks Baked Cheddar Snack Crackers, 6.6 oz, $1.29
...my kids love these crackers...and prefer them over goldfish crackers! They're actually healthier than goldfish crackers, too!
1-Friendly Farms Skim milk, 1 gallon, $1.89
...though the price does fluctuate a little on occasion, this is their typical price! I can usually count on getting a gallon of skim or 1% milk for $2.00 or less at Aldi.
1-Friendly Farms Homogenized milk, 1 gallon $2.69
...we don't usually buy whole milk, but we need this for a special recipe.
1-Trendz Fleece Lined Clogs, size 7, $5.99
...these are much like the "crocs" brand. This pair is for my 8 year old son. My 12 year old daughter has a pair, too...and LOVES them! They do tend to run a little small, though. So, I recommend testing them out before you buy.
1-Clancy's 100% White Corn Tortilla Chips, 14 oz. $.99
...this is a great regular price on tortilla chips. Great to grab a bag or two to have on hand.
1-Fit & Active Dried Apricots, 6 oz., $1.39
1-Fit & Active Dried Fruit Medley, 6 oz, $1.39
2-Fit & Active Yogurt Covered Raisins, 8 oz., $1.49 each
...my kids like to have a few of these as a snack. We've also been throwing a few of them into a bowl of oatmeal...often along with a little Coffee Creamer (such as Hazelnut Coffeemate when it's on sale). Yum!
TOTAL: $41.67! :-)
