Copps Trip 2/2/11:  $23.60...66% OFF!

I made a trip to Copps to catch their Wednesday double-coupon day this week.  When I got there, I found that a lot of the advertised sales were no longer marked on the shelves.  However, I checked in with customer service & they said they removed the sale tags to save time due to lower staffing today (because of our big storm).  Whew!  I was glad to see that all was well on my receipts after check out, too.  I did this trip in three transactions in order for all my coupons to double.* I also purchased a $20 Copps gift card to bring the minimum purchase up above $25 on one of my transactions (gift card not included in totals)*.

Here's what I chose to buy today:

  1. I like how you break your summary into sections - I do it by transactions. I freaked a bit at the store today too - a lot of empty shelves but they were in process of restocking! (whew)

  2. Hi Dannelle, Yes. I have often broken my trip posts down by aisle/section of the make it easier for others to use as a shopping list, so to speak. Sometimes, I do go by transaction, though...especially with Walgreens trip posts (where register rewards and roll-overs, etc. are a little more complicated). Thanks for the posts on your Operation $40K blog, too! It's fun to see your trips & tips! :-)
