Copps Trip 2/23/11 $12.62...86% OFF + MORE!!!

Copps Trip 2/23/11...Overall $0.38 MONEYMAKER!


OK.  Now, I'm going to have to donate some cereal.  This may be my best Copps trip, so far.  After accounting for all of the coupons I received for FREE stuff, I actually left the store earning $0.38, overall!  Craziness!  Oh, and ummmm, my sincere apologies to the guy who came up behind me in line to buy just two donuts! ;-)

Transaction #1:

10 Ronzoni pasta: 6-smart taste + 4 healthy harvest, $1.00 each
+ used three $1/2 Ronzoni Smart Taste, exp. 3-31-11 (SS 01/23/11)
+ used two $1/2 Ronzoni Healthy Harvest, exp. 3-31-11 (SS 01/23/11)
= FREE after doubled coupons!


1-Roundy's fresh boneless skinless Chicken Breasts, family pack, $1.99/lb (limit 2 pkg)
= $1.99/lb. (bought 3.2 lbs. for $6.37)
~bought $10 Copps gift card to bring my subtotal up above $25 so coupons would double
Total: $16.37 - $10 gift card
= $6.37

Transaction #2:
6-boxes of cereal:  4 Cinnamon burst Cheerios ($3.39 each) & 2 Honey Nut Cheerios ($3.39 each)
+ used four $0.75/1 mc (doubled)
+ used one $1/2 mc (doubled)
= $12.34 - $10 off instantly when you buy 6 = $2.34 (or $0.39 each!)
+ received vouchers for FREE milk ($3.25 value) & FREE eggs ($1.75 value) 
= $2.66 MONEYMAKER!
1-Egg Beaters, $2.00 
+ free sample coupon (received in the mail) (value $2.70) 
= $0.70 MONEYMAKER!
1-Roundy's Gallon Milk, 1/5, 2/5 or skim, $1.98 (limit 1)
+ use in ad coupon to get sale price
= $1.98
1-Propel 24 oz. bottle, $1.19 
+ "free" coupon (catalina print out coupon received in prior visit) 
= FREE!
1-Chef Boyardee can 15 oz. or larger, $1.19
+ "free sample" coupon (received in the mail) 
= FREE!

~bought $10 Copps gift card to bring my subtotal up above $25 so coupons would double (instant $10 off cereal counted against my $25 total) 

Total: $13.62 - $10 gift card = $3.62 + received vouchers for FREE milk ($3.25 value) & FREE eggs ($1.75 value) 
= $1.48 MONEYMAKER! (I used $10 gift card from Transaction #1 to pay toward this transaction)

Transaction #3:

6-boxes of Chex cereal, $2.79 each
+ used four $1/1 mc (did not double)
+ used one $0.75/1 mc (did not double)
+ used one $0.75/1 mc (doubled) 
= $10.49 - $10 off instantly when you buy 6 = $0.49 (or $0.08 each!)
+ received vouchers for FREE milk ($3.25 value) & FREE eggs ($1.75 value)
= $4.51 MONEYMAKER! 

1-Silk Soymilk with DHA, $2.50
+ used $0.55/1 mc (doubled)
= $1.40

2-Poise liners (for our sweet little senior dog), $1.98 & $2.98 each
+ used in ad coupon to get first for $1.98
+ used Walgreens catalina print out mc for $3.00 off any
+ used sample coupon received in mail for $2 off any
= $0.04 MONEYMAKER!

2-Wolf chili, 15 oz. cans, $1.50 each
+ used $0.75/2 mc (doubled)
= $0.75 each

2-Ronzoni Garden Delight pastas, $1.00 each
+ used two $1/1 coupons (doubled)
= $2.00 MONEYMAKER!

Total:  $12.36 - $10 gift card = $2.36 + tax + received vouchers for FREE milk ($3.25 value) & FREE eggs ($1.75 value) = $3.14 MONEYMAKER! (I used $10 gift card from Transaction #2 to pay toward this transaction)


GRAND TOTALS THIS TRIP:
TOTAL Spent: $22.62 - $10 gift card purchased in transaction #3 = $12.62
Total SAVED: $74.89 (86% OFF!)
- received $10 in FREE milk & egg catalina print out coupons
- received $3 in FREE any 3 ct Starbucks Via Ready Brew catalina print out coupon
= $0.38 MONEYMAKER TRIP! 
+ I also received two coupons for $1/2 silk soy milk (which can be doubled) and another coupon for $2/1 Poise liners!

  3. No need to get the $10 Gift Card with the cereal deals, the $25 is to be calculated on SHELF price, eventhough the receipt is adjusted with the $10 credit before coupons.

    Just ask the cashier to "try one" coupon and see if it works...it will.
    I did this:
    2.47# bananas @$.49/# = $1.27
    8oz package Mushrooms $1.49 (normally $1.59)
    1 Gallon Skim Milk $2.29
    6 boxes Cinnamon Burst Cheerios @$3.29 ($20.34)

    Coupons used :
    Six $1/1 Cinn Burst Cheerios (five doubled), $.51 Mushrooms (from savings booklet) $3.25 for Milk and they took the $10 off instantly

    Total, $25.43 for $.57 and then, got the $5 in vouchers for a $4.43 Moneymaker!

  4. I like the idea of just having the cashier "try one" coupon to check. They could always just cancel it out if it didn't double. Thanks, Dannelle!
