Copps Trip 4/9/11 $20.75...80% OFF! |
+ received FOUR FREE Milk Coupons for future use (valued up to $14.36 total)!
Be sure to know your prices & watch your receipts closely! I've really been trying to check my receipts in the parking lot before I leave the store...to be sure there aren't any errors. Errors don't just occur at one store in particular. It could occur at any store....and often has nothing to do with the coupons! I've been amazed at how frequently I catch an error in pricing, coupons applied or other. Unfortunately, I seem to catch some sort of error on about 50% of my shopping trips! I wish I had been aware of the frequency of this issue sooner. Given this 50% error track record, I'm sure I've overpaid plenty of times in the past.
Today, one of my coupons (the $0.75/1 Halls coupon), did not double and another $1/3 Birdseye coupon did not appear on the receipt at all. Overall, if I hadn't caught these errors, I would have overpaid by $2.75. You may say, well, what's the big deal? $2.75 isn't much! True!...but, think of this and other over-charges occurring time and time again and you could be losing hundreds or more over the course of a year! Today, I caught this on the receipt and paid a visit to customer service to receive my cash back (the correction is included in my transactions below).

Hey, Donna, what days are double daze? Just Saturdays? Wednesdays too?
ReplyDeleteThanks!! (I actually saw your post yesterday and got my 6 boxes of cereal, 2 gallons of milk (coupons), free bananas (coupon off a Frosted Flakes box) for $14. Thanks for posting!!)
Hello! Glad the post helped you out!
ReplyDeleteNormally, at Copps, you can double up to FIVE manufacturer's coupons (with a value of $1.00 or less) on Saturdays and Wednesdays (through Sat. July 9th, 2011). Additionally, Copps has been having DOUBLE-Double Days the last two Saturday's in April (& likely another upcoming Saturday as well) in which you can double up to TEN coupons in one transaction (all other doubling rules apply as usual. See the "Store Tips & Policies: Grocery Stores" page for more Copps doubling rules info).
Happy Saving! :-)
