Walgreens Trip 4/6/11 $2.00...92% OFF! + $3.00 RR!

Walgreens Trip 4/6/11 $2.00...92% OFF!

I had a pretty good trip to Walgreens today & am happy with getting 92% OFF, overall.  However, the Olay soap was priced higher than I expected (the shelf tag was a little deceiving (really my error, though. I should have looked at it more closely)For more information about shopping and saving at Walgreens, visit the Madison Coupon Connection page: Store Tips & Policies:  Drugstores.  To see more deals available yet this week see: Walgreens Deals 4/3/11 - 4/9/11!

Here's what I chose to buy today:
1-Scott Naturals Paper Towels, 6 pack, $5.00
+ used $1/1 April Coupon Booklet Coupon
+ used $1.50/1 printable coupon
= $2.50 (or $0.41 per roll)!

2-Olay Bar, 2 pack, $3.49 (I thought these were going to be $2.99 each) B1G150% OFF
+ used two $2/1 coupons
= $0.62 each ~at $2.99 each these would have been more like $0.25 each :-(, Oh well, $0.62 each is still not too bad.

1-Colgate MaxFresh, $2.99
~buy one, receive $3 register reward
+ used one $1/1 coupon
= $1.99 + received $3 RR = $1.01 MONEYMAKER!

1-Crayola Color Wonder On the Go Pack, $1.50
+ used one $1/1 coupon
= $0.50

3-Lindsay Olives, $0.99
+ used in ad coupon to get sale price
= $0.99 each

~used $8 in RR from last week's trip

Total Spent: $2.00 (including tax)...92% OFF!
Total Saved: 22.27 + received $3 RR for future use!
Overall $1.00 MONEYMAKER Trip! :-)

  2. Thanks for the tip, Claudette! Were they the "glow" explosion product, though? I saw "explosion, on the go" packs, in store, but I'm not sure whether I saw "glow explosion, on the go" packs. My $2/1 coupons read: "Save $2.00 on any any Crayola Glow Explosion product". It would be great if they are! :-)

  3. Watch the receipts on the Color Wonder - they ring up at $3.49 for two instead of $3...I had to get some money back!
