Copps Trip 5/21/11 $14.33...76% OFF!

I figured I'd get today's Copps trip posted first (even though I shopped at Hy-Vee & ALDI yesterday, too)...since the cashier told me it's DOUBLE-Double day today!  What a surprise! :-)  Did anyone else know about that?  If it was advertised anywhere, I somehow missed it!  I did my trip in two transactions.  See below:

+ used three $2/2 coupons from Moments to Save Insert

= $1.00 each

2-POM Wonderful Juice, $2.49 each

+ used two $1/1 coupons, doubled

= $0.49 each

2-Heluva Good Dips, $1.00 each

+ used two $0.75/1 coupons, doubled

= better than FREE!

~ used Rolling Gift Card Idea: purchased a $25 Copps gift card to be sure my coupons would double & also used a $25 Copps gift card from a prior trip to zero this cost out.  

Total Spent: $6.06

Total Saved: $20.92 (78% OFF!)

Transaction #2:

2-Kashi TLC Bars, $3.00 each

+ used two $1/1 coupons, doubled

= $1.00 each

1-Cottonelle Fresh Flushable Wipes, $2.99

+ used coupon I received in the mail to get these FREE

= FREE!

1-Skippy Natural Peanut butter, $0.98

+ used in ad coupon to get sale price

= $0.98

1-Haagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream, $3.00

+ used $1/1 coupon, doubled

= $1.00

1-Roundy's 1% milk, 1 gallon, $2.29

= $2.29

1-Best Life Spread Margarine, $2.00

+ used $0.50/1 coupon, doubled

= $1.00

1-8th Continent Light Soy Milk, $1.74 (shelf price stated $3.19...so I guess this was actually on sale!)

+ used $2/1 coupon

= better than FREE!
