Copps Trip 5/4/11 $6.97...81% OFF!

Copps Trip 5/4/11 $6.97...81% OFF!
I made a quick Copps trip today to catch their double day.  I feel like I'm starting out the month slightly more slowly in terms of my grocery budget.  So that's good.  I do also plan to make another stop at Walgreens, Hy-Vee, & ALDI yet this week, though...so we'll see! ;-)

For these deals and more available at Copps through the end of today, see my earlier post:  Copps Deals Week of 4/28/11 - 5/4/11!
For deals available at Copps starting Thurs 5/5/11, see: Copps Deals Week of 5/5/11 - 5/11/11!

I did this trip in two transactions.  Here's what I chose to buy at Copps today:

+ used two $1/1 coupons, doubled
= $1.00 each

1-Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo, $2.99 ~I've always wanted to try this (probably on a day that I don't plan to leave the house, though! ;-))
+ used coupon for FREE product (received in the mail)
= FREE!

1-Kraft Shredded Cheese with a Touch of Philadelphia, $1.99
+ used $0.50/1 coupon, doubled

~ used Rolling Gift Card Idea: purchased a $25 Copps gift card to be sure my coupons would double & also used a $25 Copps gift card from a prior trip to zero this cost out.

Total Spent: $3.47
Total Saved: $15.19 (81% OFF!)

  1. What does the silk milk taste like? I've been wanting to try it since I got a $1 coupon for it in a box of cereal I bought a few weeks ago. :) Thanks!

  2. I think it has a really nice, smooth taste. Just don't expect it to taste like milk. As far as soy milks go, I prefer the "Silk" brand, overall.

  4. I'm glad you found MCC, Poglaus! :-)

It can be fun trying new products! If you have a $1/1 coupon for this, & are able to get the Silk Soymilk with DHA (1/2 gallon) for $2.50 (the price I see pretty regularly at my Copps), you'll just be paying $0.50 for it on double-day! :-)
