Hy-Vee Trip 5/20/11 $8.85!

I made quick stops at Hy-Vee and ALDI yesterday. The 12 pack of coke was only $0.99 during their NOWWOW event from 4-8pm last night.  Usually, when I get the NOWWOW deal text messages, I don't plan to be near Hy-Vee during the limited hours the sale is available.  Spending extra money on gas to get a great (but limited) deal just doesn't make much sense.  However, yesterday, I lucked out!  I was going to be driving right by! Yay!

Here's what I chose to buy at Hy-Vee this week:

1-Diet Caffeine Free Coke, 12 pack, $0.99
+ showed cashier NOWWOW LU# to get sale price! 
= $0.99

4-Butter Kernel Green Beans, $0.39 each 
= $0.39 each

2-Chef Boyardee Whole Grain Pasta, can, $1.00 each
+ used B1G1FREE Chef Boyardee Whole Grain Canned Pasta coupon (exp. 7/1/11) ~I don't know where I got this one
= $0.50 each

4-Palermo's Classics Pizzas, $1.80 each
+ used two $1/2 coupons
= $1.30 each

Total Spent: $8.85 to subtract from my $200/mo. grocery budget
