ALDI Deals Week of 6/8/11 - 6/14/11!

Some great produce buys at ALDI again this week!  Here are the deals that stood out for me in this week's ALDI ad (6/8 - 6/14, 2011):
Red Grapes $1.98 per 2 lb. clamshell = $0.99/lb.
= $0.99/lb. ~grapes are at the same price at Copps this week, too!

Blueberries, pint, $1.29
= $1.29

Strawberries, 1 lb. package, $0.99
= $0.99 ~strawberries are $1.50/lb. at Copps this week

Seedless Watermelon, $2.99 each
= $2.99 each ~watermelon is $3.99 each (15 lb. average) at Copps this week.  I don't know how the size of the ALDI watermelons will compare.  Update:  I bought a watermelon at ALDI on 6/8 and weighed it at home.  The one I purchased was certainly not the largest available & it weighed 13 lbs on my home scale.

    Asparagus is also available at Aldi's at least today for $1.29/lb. My Aldi shopper discovered it. It looks nice, too.
